About Food Abundance Revolution

Food can be grown nearly everywhere that people live.

We can create a world where food is available to everyone when we grow with abundance.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to produce food in such amazing abundance that you simply have to give some of it away.

Feed yourself.  Then Feed the World.

Hi! I'm Sue

I am a landscape ecologist by trade.  What does that mean?   Well I work professionally on strategic land use planning and conservation projects as a consultant for First Nations communities and other organizations.  I am also focused on habitat management and reducing human-wildlife conflicts where they occur.

My training includes a PhD in biology and a MSc in Plant Science.  I am double registered as a professional biologist (RPBio) and professional Agrologist (PAg) in the province of British Columbia, Canada.

My mission is to inspire people to grow food everywhere, and in such abundance, that they simply have to give some of it away.  I believe together we can create a world in which no one goes hungry.

At Rose Hill Farm

I have lived on small farms in the Lillooet area of BC for more than 20 years.    I was a certified organic vegetable seed producer for 5 years.

I currently live on Rose Hill Farm, where I am focused on small scale livestock production including heirloom chickens and Silver Appleyard ducks for meat and eggs, and Dexters cows for land regeneration, meat and dairy.

Growing Food Is Everyone's Business

It doesn't matter if you live in an apartment, a suburban home, or a larger piece of land.  Growing food is everyone's business.   There is something you can grow even if all you have is a window sill.

At Food Abundance Revolution, we will not simply focus on the 'how to' of growing food.  I want to affect the lens with which you see the world.  Food abundance can be created anywhere, everywhere.

The key rests with an abundance mindset - with seeing and knowing that we can create a world with enough, enough of all the things human beings need to thrive (not simply survive day to day).
